The Lenormand is a traditional 36 card cartomancy deck named after the famous reader, Marie Le Normand.

This deck beautifully illustrates the Lenormand with vintage photography and illustrations set on the corresponding pages of an old dictonary, chosen to guide you into a state of mind where nothing is as it first appears, and image communicates more deeply than words.

A reading is traditonally interpreted based on the placement of the 'Man' and 'Woman' cards, in responce to which this deck includes an additional Man and Woman with reveresed numbering to allow for same-sex readings, or a choice of artwork. You will also find two more cards, unique to this deck, called the Mirrors. These are replacements for the Man and Woman without race, age, gender, or sexuality. The Mirrors are designed to reflect whoever is looking at them.

The tuck box is matte black and finished with gold foiling detail, inspired by the black and gold designs common of 19th century mourning cards.
